  1. Ian Holmes says:

I have to admit that the PM has performed pretty well considering all the stuff that’s been thrown at her from Europe and the UK. She’s kept her powder dry and because there was simply no plan for Brexit before the referendum (the politicians and bankers thought they had it all sewn up to remain, so no plan was required!) she has needed to take time thinking it through which she has done and I admire her for it. Again, since her speech and outline of her plan, she has received more adverse comments from the bankers, Europe and UK, in particular the Scots (why would they give up their freedom in one union for a straight-jacket in another, just to become a Greece without the sunshine? Unfathomable!) but I am confident in her approach and in the future of this great nation. We should realise just how fortunate we are in these islands to have such stability of government and economy (yes, there are always a few waves – life’s like that). I f you are a citizen in the UK, consider yourself very very fortunate and look to a future where we can, as we have successfully done in the past, govern ourselves sensibly and compassionately and trade profitably with the whole world. Europe is sclerotic and needs basic reform. It is unwilling to admit it, so let it lie down and submit to being Germany’s vehicle.
